Pooping out my fat

Well, it's obviously been a few months since I blogged. My life sort of picked up and I lost control over what I ate and drank?? So I gained a ton of weight?!?!?!!? Because I'm stressed and miserable. Gone were the days of relaxing at home making delicious digestible soups. Instead I just went to a lot of meetings and ate pizza and Jamaican beef patties while canvassing and drank my feelings c/o being stressed and not being emotionally mature enough to handle it.

But work has slowed down, and it's the summer! And I have a CSA! And a therapist! And a book club! And I need my body to look normal by July 30th so my whole family doesn't think I am a monster (AN: this is a projection. My family probably doesnt think I am a monster but I don't really want to deal with off handed comments of any type about my body while I am on vacation.)

So, I am trying to do Whole 30!!!!! Modified for some FODMAP intolerances. My bowls are indeed becoming watery again. :(  I am still staying away from  onions and garlic (although I am OK wth a bit hidden in sauces or whateverI just never cook with it anymore). And there is some overlap between Whole 30 (no dairy, legumes, grains, sugar, alcohol, no fake sugar) and low-FODMAP. But a lot of the fruits vegetables I rely on during Whole 30 make me shit my brains out! And I guess I am just going to deal with that this month.

(Actually maybe just eating a ton of fruits and vegetables all the fucking time make everyone shit their brains out???? )

I sometimes eat apples, which I am not supposed to. I think I am going to eat some broccoli and cauliflower. I have already eaten watermelon!!! I have already eaten asparagus and beets. So let's see what happens!

Maybe I miss pooping water???

So here are some staple meals for modified low-FODMAP Whole 30:

-Baked sweet potato with coconut oil and almond butter. (THIS IS SO GOOD)
-Sugar-free onion-and-garlic-free homemade bolognese sauce with sauteed spiralized zucchini and carrot noodles.
-roasted kohlrabi and broccoli
-ANYTHING WITH TAHINI ON IT
-babaghanouj with persian cucumbers.
-BYO vinegar salads (UGH NO DELI MEAT ON THEM ALLOWED SORRY PHILLY)

oh, also. IM NOT PERFECT. i drank a bottle of chardonnay last night. That's not Whole 30!!!! buttttt. Im not really good at following rules so part of the reason I choose really strict diets is because I always cheat on whatever diet im on so I might as well choose a hard one, so cheating is like eating a spoon full of peanut butter or something relatively benign. (Like, if I can drink 4 tiny wine bottled 1x a week instead of 7x , that's a win for me.)

okay this is boring but at least I blogged. I am going to go poop now, so here's hoping it's relatively solid!

<3,

Qaate
